Press release - Olofsfors AB took home this year's production award at Nordmaling's corporate gala

November 16 was the fifth edition of Nordmaling Municipality's corporate gala, where prizes were awarded to nominated companies that excelled and made an impression during the year. Lisa Lemke, food creator, food writer, food stylist and host from Falkenberg, was this year's guest lecturer. She talked about locally grown and sustainability, the smaller municipality and the importance of cooperation. She talked about her own value word "colleagues", to see herself as colleagues even though you are competitors. In smaller municipalities such as Nordmaling, it is extra important that companies cooperate and dare, despite the competitive situation, to put the place on the map together.

Sverker Olofsson gala conferences

The corporate gala conference was Sverker Olofsson, best known from the TV program Plus. The questions and statements took turns at the same pace as the well-known plus debater he is. Sverker himself, knew well what Olofsfors was doing, and usually wonders if it is Olofsfors' steel on the plows that is driven outside his house. He wanted to know why it is because things are going so well for Olofsfors.

- Olofsfors works long-term with quality basically. We see the customers, work closely and listen to the customers and we develop products that are suitable for the different markets, said Maria Öhman, Marketing Manager at Olofsfors.

But what is the secret then?

In addition to the quality of the steel and the process of making it hard, Olofsfors was more than secretive on that issue. - Some things are secret. But we invest a lot, move forward and we have many plans ahead. This year's winner for the Award for praiseworthy contribution within Production was awarded to Olofsfors AB, with motivation: From Wikipedia: "Production is a term that in the general sense usually denotes a measurable result of some kind of production". Contemplate the expression “Measurable results”… This company delivers nothing but clearly measurable and good results, results that the whole municipality is proud of. At the same time, they stand for security, growth and an enormous commitment to the municipality. It is impossible to get away from… "- Old is still oldest"!
